Mark V (1965)

Rock n' Roll


MARK V


Stovall was the lead singer in a high school band called,  "MARK V". They won the "Florida Battle of the Bands" in Daytona Beach and were well known in the Tampa Bay area. Band members included: Sam Bond, Chris Wells, Bill Aerts, and Vinnie DeAngelo


DISHES OF CREAM


Stovall left the MARK V in his Junior year of High School to join a New York City band named, 'Dishes of Cream". They opened for "The Young Rascals", "Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels" and others in New York City and throughout the Northeast. In 1965, the "Dishes of Cream recorded I CAN'T COMPLAIN for Mercury Records and manager, Sam Gordon.


DR. ROCKIT


In 1998, Stovall and friend Robb Hough formed the band " Dr. Rockit" and played venues around the Tampabay area. Band members included: Robb Hough, Cary Palmer, Buddy Emmons, and Charlie Bailey.
